Ch. Magrez Fombrauge blanc 2015

Bordeaux Blanc

In the shellfish and crustaceans series :

White in Saint Emilion? Well yes, it does exist !
You are necessarily downgraded to white Bordeaux, but the terroir of great wines is very present. And we can’t change that.

What are we going to eat with that !?

My parents’ friend, a fisherman from father to son, arrived to bring us some magnificent lobsters caught in his nets in the morning. So we light the brazier !

Sauvignon blanc, Sauvignon gris and Sémillon perfume with their delicacy this magnificent white of Saint-Emilion which has body, power and fullness. Its nose exhales flowers, toasted notes and a certain bitterness. The 2015 also shows some lemony notes that will sublimate this noble lobster.
And to top it all off, a few slices of octopus, homemade seasoning.

What coquetry would you associate with the white wines of Saint Emilion ?
